Patent Granted in Malaysia for a System and Method for Treating Palm Oil Mill Residues to Produce Biomass Fuel

JET Inc. hereby announces that a patent related to equipment technology associated with its ERS has been granted in Malaysia as outlined below on November 3, 2025.

This patent relates to a system and method for treating palm oil mill residues, including empty fruit bunches and liquid waste generated in the palm oil production process. By combining microbial treatment and oil and fat component adsorption, the technology enables the conversion of such residues into a usable biomass fuel.

Positioned as one of the core technologies of ERS promoted by JET, this system makes it possible to achieve both volume reduction of organic residues discharged from palm oil mills and efficient energy recovery.

Following this patent grant, JET’s technical engagement with Malaysia continues to expand. In April 2025, JET delivered a lecture at Universiti Sains Malaysia, and in 2026, the company plans to accept a student from the same university as an industrial trainee in Japan. These initiatives reflect the growing collaboration not only in technology but also in education and human resource development.

Leveraging these local partnerships, JET will continue to advance the deployment of ERS across Malaysia and other regions in Asia, contributing to the conversion of waste into resources and the enhancement of energy utilization.
