JET Signs Industry–Academia Collaboration Agreement with Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST)

On 28 October, 2025, JET Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the School of Mechanical Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Vietnam to establish a framework for industry–academia collaboration.

The primary focus of this partnership is the advancement of joint research and technical cooperation in engineering fields, particularly mechanical design.
As one of Vietnam’s leading science and technology universities, HUST is committed to developing highly skilled engineers. By combining the expertise of both institutions, JET aims to deepen research and promote the development of practical engineering technologies.
In addition to collaborative research, several educational and exchange initiatives are also planned, including:
- Scholarships supporting students’ research activities
- Short-term internship opportunities in Japan for interested students
- Support for international learning experiences through graduation projects and practical training
These activities serve as complementary initiatives within JET’s broader international engagement efforts, enhancing the value of a research-centered partnership. Through this agreement, JET strives to contribute to the advancement of research and international technical exchange, with a particular focus on mechanical design.
