JET’s Initiatives Featured in a Report Published by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan

JET’s initiatives were featured as a case study in the report Report on Policies to Promote the Recycling and Utilization of Food Circulation Resources (p.180), published on March 18, 2025 by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan.

The report was commissioned by the Ministry of the Environment and prepared by Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting Co., Ltd., compiling the results of research and analysis on the recycling and effective utilization of food circulation resources. It presents advanced initiatives aimed at improving resource circulation, including the effective use of recyclable materials such as food waste and plastics.

As part of the report, JET’s volume-reduction and drying system, ERS, is introduced as a technology that enables the efficient processing and separation of mixed waste containing food waste and plastics. JET’s technology is presented as one example of an initiative contributing to the development of a circular society.

JET will continue to contribute to the creation of sustainable systems for industry and society through the development and implementation of technologies that help reduce environmental impact and advance resource circulation.

Related initiatives are also available in a press release covering patent acquisition and implementation and demonstration activities.
