Acceptance of Students from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Implementation of Practical Training Program

JET Corporation has accepted two students from the Faculty of Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam, and conducted a 6-month training and exchange program in Japan as part of our industry–academia collaboration.

The program began with 3 months technical exchange activities at Tsuruoka National College of Technology, followed by 3 months practical training at JET. During their time at JET, the students engaged in hands-on work primarily related to 3D design, gaining practical experience and deepening their understanding of engineering design. To make sure the students will have good experience during the training periods, JET Corporation has financially supported the students during both stages of the program (including all transportation, accommodation, and daily meals). Before departing for the first 3 months of the technical exchange at Tsuruoka National College of Technology, JET corporation welcomed the students to the headquarters in Tokyo. During the short stay, the brief orientation about JET corporation was given to the students about the history and the technology of the ERS.
The participating students are considering future employment opportunities in Japan, and this initiative is positioned as part of our efforts to promote international human resource development and technical exchange.
