JET Announces Participation as Lecturer at the 2025 Saitama Poultry Association Training Seminar

JET is pleased to announce that our Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Shimose, served as a lecturer at the 2025 Saitama Poultry Association Training Seminar, held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, upon invitation from the Saitama Livestock Association.
Earlier this year, JET won a public tender by Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) for the supply of a Mobile Rendering System. Delivery to the Animal Quarantine Service, Chubu Airport Branch was successfully completed in March 2025, and the system has been officially deployed since April (FY2025).
The Mobile Rendering System incorporates JET’s proprietary ERS(Environmental Recycling System) — a rapid fermentation and drying technology enabling heating, fermentation, and dehydration.
In the seminar, Mr. Shimose provided an overview of “ERS as a Mobile Rendering System”, explaining what ERS is and how it can support emergency response in the event of an outbreak of designated infectious livestock diseases.
In Saitama Prefecture, poultry culled due to highly pathogenic avian influenza are, in principle, handled through burial. However, this method presents several operational challenges. The seminar featured an active Q&A session, and the subsequent reception offered valuable opportunities for further discussion.
We sincerely hope that JET’s Mobile Rendering System and ERS technology will contribute to addressing the issues currently faced by the Saitama Poultry Association.
