About “The 1.5°C Promise – Let’s Act Now to Stop Rising Temperatures”

“The 1.5°C Promise” is the world’s first joint campaign that calls for action on climate change through the power of the media.

It was launched by a group of Japanese media organizations that joined the United Nations’ SDG Media Compact, the first initiative of its kind in Japan.

The Shizuoka Shimbun and Shizuoka Broadcasting System (SBS) are also participating in this campaign.
