This program is implemented with comprehensive support, including travel, meal\u00a0support\u00a0and accommodation, providing the student with a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real working environment in Japan.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JET has been continuously engaged in technical exchange with Malaysia, centered on ERS-related technologies. From 2018,\u00a0<s>\u00a0<\/s>ERS has been installed at the university, and the student, having been involved in research using this system,\u00a0which result as continuous collaboration research between JET, USM, and Nagaoka University of Technology. The on-going collaboration has been fruitful with many published scientific articles and conference issues on how municipal and industrial waste can be recycled into useful material, from empty fruit bunch to daily food waste. One of our biggest achievements from the collaboration is the obtain\u00a0of a related patent (MY-211002-A) in Malaysia in November 2025. To stepping up the collaboration and for future generation, JET decided to fund an internship for a student of USM,<s>\u00a0<\/s>applied for an internship at JET\u00a0and Nagaoka University of Technology. This acceptance\u202frepresents\u202fone of the practical initiatives within industry\u2013academia collaboration between Japan and Malaysia.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JET plays a role in connecting educational institutions and industry, supporting the creation of practical learning opportunities. Through these efforts, JET promotes collaboration with overseas universities and research institutions, fostering the development of next-generation talent and advancing international technical exchange. Going forward, JET will continue to serve as a hub connecting students and researchers from overseas with operational sites in Japan, creating opportunities for human resource exchange and technological collaboration.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative has also been featured on the official website of the School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia.
